Mobile physiotherapy is a service where our experienced physiotherapists come directly to your home to provide personalized treatments, making it convenient and comfortable for you.

Do you see clients under My Aged Care?

Yes, we do serve clients under My Aged Care, particularly those whose home care package is managed by a provider. If you are interested in receiving our services, we can assist in organizing a service agreement with your provider

I am a case manager/support coordinator, how do I refer my client to you?

You can easily refer your client by sending us their details and your referral to our email at info@lifefocusphysio.com.au. We’ll promptly get in touch to arrange the best possible care.

What areas do you provide mobile services to?

We cover most suburbs in the North East and South East areas of Melbourne. For areas outside our regular coverage, a travel fee may apply. Please contact us to discuss. 

How much does a session cost?

What languages do your physiotherapists speak?

Our physiotherapists are fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

What should I expect during my appointment?

During your appointment, our physiotherapist will perform an assessment, talk about your goals, and offer treatment customized to your specific needs. This treatment plan might encompass exercises, manual therapy, and educational guidance.

How should I prepare before my appointment?

Please wear comfortable clothing that allows for movement and make sure to clear a space in your home where the physiotherapy session can take place. Additionally, consider preparing any relevant medical records, such as a referral letter from your surgeon or GP, or a discharge letter from the hospital.

How long is a typical session?

Our session varies according to your care requirements and typically an initial consultation lasts from 45 minutes to an hour. Subsequent consultations are usually around 30 minutes, but they can be extended based on your specific needs.

Do I need any equipment for the session?

Our physiotherapist will bring any necessary equipment. If you have resistance bands or exercise equipment, having those available could be helpful.

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule an appointment?

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance to avoid any cancellation fees.

Is mobile physiotherapy covered by my insurance?

Coverage can vary depending on your insurance plan. It’s recommended to contact your insurance provider to confirm coverage details.
